The low density helps control board weight, while the light grain and easy machining support rails, reinforcements, repairs and rocker adjustments. It is a practical base for hollow boards, alaias, paipos, fish, egg, midlength, longboard and prototypes where flex, torsion and final response depend on the complete board design. The wood accepts glue, resin and transparent finishes; for water use it must be sealed according to the selected construction system.
